Worst service ever
By Jerry Jagers, posted: May 20I paid my bill and they are charging me for two months like I did not pay my bill. And they are charging me activation fee when I bought the phone online and it said no activation fee. The 4G is a joke because you can even get a signal anywhere you go. Can't use Facebook without WIFI. They advertise unlimited data and 4G but you can't get internet anywhere and I live in Miami. I will never recomend Sprint to anyone. Don't waste your money.
1.0 overallawful customer service
By axela, posted: May 17Hi, today I went to 4 sprint locations, and I talked to 4 people on sprint support. Overall the customer service was awful. I am extremely disappointed and it was a headache dealing with these issues. The 1st man I talked to on the phone promised me a new phone free of charge because of the issue with my phone, I then got transferred and the next person said I couldn’t get a new phone and I would have to go through insurance. Then the 2nd person got her supervisor to give me a second opinion, the supervisor connected me to technical support who told me she made a ticket for me and that I could go to a sprint store and have the phone looked at. The person on technical support said with the ticket I’d be able to either get the phone fixed or I could get a new phone without going through insurance and without having to pay the deductable. I think that because I am a young girl, and I was polite that nobody exerted effort toward solving my problem. After my call with technical support I went to the sprint store. They said they couldn’t help me, I’m extremely disappointed in sprint and I can’t help but feel that if I was a man and rude to the employees my problem would have been solved.- 1.0 overall
goodbye sprint
By Emil naylor, posted: May 15I was with sprint for 8 years and never was late paying my bill, not once. In the past 8 years I have only upgraded my phone once and my broadband never. So I went for a upgraded phone and 4g broadband. A month and half later my phone was literally falling apart, they wanted 35.00 to repair it. I told them my broadband would only pickup 3g. Sprint told me they did not have 4g in my area and had no idea when they would. Two months later the new broadband total quit working. I called customer and expanded the issues, I was told they could not change my contract and I should have check my area to see if I had 4g coverage before changing.I told the person to activate my old phone and broadband. He said I would be called by Sprint for a survey and ask if I would report that he solved all my issues, I told him no I would not, he said he would not activate my old phone and broadband unless I gave him a good review. I said you got to be kidding he said he was not kidding. I told I would give a good him a good review, he then activated my phone and broadband, this guy has to be an idiot. I could go no and on but a long story short, I used my old phone and old broadband until it was cheaper to pay the ETF's then to complete contract. I am glad I quit Sprint, and so is my current carry. - 4.0 overall
DONT BUY METROPCS I SHOULD HAVE STAYED WITH SPRINT
By Ozzie Hype, posted: May 11To Metro Pcs, On April 25th, 2012 I went to inquire about purchasing a new phone at the Metro PCS store at 86-24 Rockaway Beach Blvd FAR ROCKAWAY QUEENS. I expressed my interest in a phone that has a built in router because where I work in Queens there is no internet service. I was told that the LG CONNECT 4G phone that I bought had a built in router. I went to work on April 28th all happy to show off my new phone to my co-workers & to my embarrassment, when I went to view a video on YouTube, no internet service. My co-workers who have AT&T,Verizon & Sprint have no problem getting internet with their Iphones. I could have bought a cheaper phone from your company instead of the most expensive one ($400). I expressed to the salesperson & store manager that I wanted a phone with a built in router & they assured me this phone had it. When I called Metro PCS about my phone not connecting to the internet in certain areas, the representative that I spoke to told me that the phone I purchased didn't have a built in router & that they were sorry. I then went back to the store & spoke to the manager about the wrong information that was told to me by them at this store & wanted to know what can be done to rectify this situation. Because of the 7 day or 60 minutes of talk time usage, whichever came first, the sales associate informed me that I couldn't get my money back because I used the phone for more than 60 minutes. The purpose of this letter is to inform the consumer not to buy this expensive phone the LG connect 4G. It's a waste of money! Now I am stuck with a phone that I can't even use where there is no internet service (Wifi). Just buy the cheapest phone from Metro PCS & just take advantage of their unlimited talk & text plan. I cancelled my Sprint account for nothing. Thanks for nothing METROPCS!!! FROM OZZIE
1.0 overallCustomer service suck suck suck!!!
By Danik89, posted: May 8When you open a contract don't trust the guy that sells you the contract, because everything is a lie! You better READ every word from that contract. And when you call sprint to ask about what you where promised they don't even know what are you talking about. Nobody there knows how to do his job, even the manager! Sprint overall sucks, coverage and 3g.. Just, don't get Sprint, very dissapointed overall.- 1.0 overall
They are the worst ever
By Margaret A. Stoner, posted: May 3Loyal customer for almost 10 years. I got a new job which requires App support. Can't get service inside my building. Asked to speak to a Supervisor after the CSR said I can't get out of contract after spending money to upgrade phone and plan to see if it would correct situation. Put me on hold for 30 minutes then said they would call me back. Never called back. Spent 400 minutes on customer support and engineering. They stink out the you know what. Don't use Sprint if you value your paycheck. I have to go and cancel via my credit card, Service, Quality and overall value deserve a -10. - 1.0 overall
Absolutely the worst customer service we have ever experienced!
By Ashley Albright, posted: May 2Switched from Tmobile so we could get IPhones. The coverage was a joke-I use my phone in business and couldn't deal with all the dropped calls. Called Sprint no less than 8 times each time the rep would say nothing was documented. They will give you a new definition of run around. Avoid Sprint at all cost-carrier pigeon would be better. - 5.0 overall
I absolutly love sprint!
By Brittn'ee GodsChild Storm, posted: Apr 25I could of never had better customer service. I placed an order Monday night and received my phone on wensday afternoon and the shipping was free. They are always very helpful. I have had sprint back in the day and now that I went back to them, I could not be more happy. They have great deals, cheap plans and overall great service. I would recommend them time and time again. Anytime I go into the sprint store, people greet me by my name, I found that excellent that they remembered me, It has been perfect.
1.0 overallSprint Does NOT Stand Behind The Products They Sell
By MHICKMAN88, posted: Mar 29 I have been with Sprint Wireless for 1 month today, after switching from Verizon. I love my phone (HTC EVO Design 4G). I should qualify that I love my phone now that it is working. I had to take it back 6 days after purchasing it because the display kept shutting off 10-15 seconds after I did anything, even though the settings were set to shut off after 5 minutes. The cell phone reception has been about the same as what we experienced with Verizon, spotty in some areas but OK in most areas. I must say though that the customer service that I have received from Sprint has been abominably poor. I had to call to have a charge taken off my first bill that I did not authorize. As of today (2 weeks after I first called and two more calls later), the erroneous charge still shows on my bill and my account shows past due because of it. I purchased two phones (both the same model) at the same time. The second phone is now giving the same problem as the first one was before it was replaced, shutting off at very short intervals. We have taken it back to the Sprint store where we purchased it. Three different employees in that store (Southcenter Parkway store in Tukwila, WA) have been extremely rude to us. They refuse to look at the second phone without charging us $35 each time. Even when they didn’t fix the problem, when we take it back they want another $35. I only paid $99 for the phone in the first place. Why should I have to repurchase the phone $35 at a time when the phone is only 30 days old since I purchased it. It has not been dropped or damaged – the display is defective. It is supposedly under a 1 year warranty from the manufacturer, but the Sprint Store refuses to honor this. Today, they advised that the phone has a defective motherboard, but they still refuse to fix it unless we pay $35 (in addition to the other two visits where they charged us to reset the phone and it did not fix the problem). We have asked to speak to a supervisor or manager and one is never available and they will not give us a manager’s name to contact later. I have tried three different times to contact Sprint Customer Service by phone. All three times, I get to talk to an employee who asks my name and account info. Then they put me on hold. In all three cases, I was on hold for over 30 minutes and finally hung up. Sprint does not stand behind the product they sell and they will not honor the manufacturer’s warranty. They make it impossible to speak to anyone at their company about the problem. I highly recommend that you avoid doing business with this company. THEY STINK BIG TIME. :(
