Company Overview: Sprint is part of the Sprint Nextel Corporation, which was officially formed in August 2005 following the successful acquisition of NEXTEL Communications by Sprint Communications for $35 billion. Sprint was originally founded as The Brown Telephone Company in 1899 in Abilene, KS. Sprint Nextel (aka "Sprint") is now headquartered in Reston, VA.

Special Plan Features: Everything you need! Sprint offers individual "Everything" plans offer unlimited mobile to mobile, night calling starting at 7 p.m. and weekends, domestic long distance and no roaming charges. Or get Simply Everything for unlimited anytime minutes instead!
Unique Features: Sprint Power Vision offers mobile data and entertainment services on a monthly or per-Kilobyte basis.
Pros: Extensive coverage for voice and high speed data services; Merger with Nextel means free calling between many Sprint and Nextel subscribers; Sprint Everything plans.
Cons: Fewer handsets available than with GSM carriers; Power Vision plans more expensive than wireless Web offerings from other major carriers.
Technology Used: CDMA Network using the 1xRTT standard. Sprint is currently rolling out a higher speed EVDO network, slated for nationwide coverage by the end of 2007.
Coverage: Nationwide Sprint CDMA network; EVDO network available in 41 U.S. states as of August 2006. Rural coverage through roaming partnership with Alltel.

ZTE Optik
The ZTE Optik is a 7 inch touchscreen tablet loaded with Google Android 3.2 (Honeycomb). Other key features include a 5MP camera, 2MP front-facing camera, 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, and loudspeaker.
Kyocera DuraPlus
The ruggedized DuraPlus from Kyocera comes loaded with 256 MB of internal memory, push-to-talk technology, GPS, a flashlight, and Bluetooth v2.1.
Zenum International Mobile Hotspot
The Sprint International Mobile Hotspot was manufactured by ZTE and is their first International hotspot. Easy to set up, the International comes with an unlocked SIM card and slot so you can connect up to 5 WiFi enabled devices.
Huawei Express Mobile Hotspot
The Express Mobile Hotspot is available at Sprint to make it easy for users to share their 3G or 4G network connection with up to 5 WiFi enabled devices. They must be within a 262 foot radius for access.
