HTC adds DROID Incredible 2, Rhyme and ThunderBolt to Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade plans

Was your HTC handset missing from the Ice Cream Sandwich update list released by the manufacturer last week? If so, today may be your lucky day, as HTC has added a few more handsets to its Android 4.0 plans. HTC has announced over on its official Facebook page that the HTC DROID Incredible 2, Rhyme and ThunderBolt will all be upgraded to Google's latest dessert. Additionally, owners of the HTC Raider on Bell and Rogers in Canada can also expect an update to ICS. There's no word yet on when the updates are expected to begin rolling out.
Kudos to HTC for continuing to keep us up to date on its Ice Cream Sandwich update plans. It's good to see another trio of handsets make the ICS cut, especially since it's made up of a nice variety of Verizon handsets. If you've got an HTC-made smartphone that still hasn't been confirmed for an Android 4.0 upgrade, don't fret just yet, as HTC tells us to stay tuned for more ICS update news in the coming weeks. We'll be sure to pass along the new information as we get it.
